Thou is a resident of Dimapur, who has recently posted on his Facebook account that he would be ready to pick up anyone, especially women if they face any difficulty at night in his town

Dimapur: With cases like Nirbhaya and Hathras becoming common news in today's day, the daughters of the country do not feel safe in their own motherland. However, there still exists a few godsent people who are working hard to make this country a safe one.

Aneiba Thou, a resident of Dimapur has recently posted on his Facebook account that he would be ready to pick up anyone, especially women if they face any difficulty at night in his town. As Thou dreams of a rape free and safe India, he believes that everyone can work together to bring a change and achieve his dream. He is a police constable.

He shared his phone numbers along with his residence address.

As the post went viral, it encouraged many others to contribute to fulfilling the dream of a rape free and safe India. According to a report by the National Crime Records Bureau, Nagaland has recorded a total of 75 cases of crime against women in 2018.
